Cats

Isn't it interesting how we cute-ify animals? First there were plushies. Now the craze spilled over to pixels.

What's a toybox without a few dozen kitties milling about? I'm a big cat fan. The bigger the kitty, the better. I have a special weakness for cats with large paws. There's just something about cats' paws that are just so cute. Anyway, cats either love me or hate me because I play with them so much. But of course, after a while, I win them over.

Oh yeah, back when I just moved into my new apartment complex, I heard meowing outside. When I opened the door, there was a beautiful gray longhair with huge amber eyes (okay, there should be a comma or two somewhere there), sitting on her hindpaws and pawing at the door (yes, she did that). Everybody suspects she used to live there with the old tenants. Grr, damn people who leave their pets behind. Why anybody would get rid of something as beautiful as this cat was beyond me. But due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn't keep her *sniff*.

Partly because of that, when it was time for me to adopt a cat, I went for this big, beautiful, gray-and-white tuxedo medium hair with large paws. His name is Mittens, and he has the sweetest temperament of any cat I've ever had. After a year, I decided that Mittens needs a kitty friend, so I adopted this beautiful, black medium-hair female who grumbles as a way of communicating with me. She's built on the same scale as Mittens, but she's smaller. I named her... Grumbles. Her temperament is as black as Mittens' is sweet. But for some reason, I enjoy irritating the living daylights out of her.
