Boonies

Okay. I know it's spelled "bunnies" and not really "boonies." Actually, they're rabbits, not bunnies. But I figured called them boonies might be fitting. You see, even though I don't have rabbits as pets, my best friend does. And she calls them boonies. And she arranged for me to be the godparent of her boonies. So I'm the proud godparent of a dozen boonies. I kid you not. I have a dozen godboonies.

My best friend is also the godparent of my two cats. My two large, furry, four-footed, feline kids. I asked my best friend if it's okay for me to babysit her boonies with my cats. You know, have them spend some quality time together as godsiblings. She was alarmed at the thought. Aw. I'm hoping she'll come around one day.

Oh wait. The latest news now is that I'm also the godparent to a female baby cat named Rover the Killer. Um... yeah.... such a fitting name for a little kitten who gets smacked around by a dozen boonies.
